Getting started
From zero to a running citepath-rehearsal in five minutes. · Updated 2026-10-01
This guide takes you from a fresh checkout to a running citepath-rehearsal locally. You need Node 22+ and a Postgres database — a free hosted one works fine.
Install
npm install
cp .env.example .env
# edit .env — set DATABASE_URL; every other integration degrades gracefully when unsetRun
npm run dev
# migrations apply automatically at bootOpen http://localhost:3000 — the landing page renders from src/app.config.ts. Sign up for an account, then visit /dashboard to see the app shell.
Make it yours
- src/app.config.ts — name, tagline, plans, prices, nav, footer. The whole site reads it.
- src/features/marketing/content.ts — landing-page sections and FAQ.
- src/features/marketing/docs.ts — this content array.
- src/features/marketing/blog/ — one module per post.
Deploy anywhere that runs Next.js. Set NEXT_PUBLIC_SITE_URL to the canonical domain so sitemap, canonical tags and OG URLs are absolute.
